Order FAQ's
Q: When will you start accepting orders?
A: Orders will be processed starting 7 November.
Q: What is the deadline to order Printed Photos?
A: All print orders received by December 2nd, 2008 will be processed. After
December 2nd, photos will only be available for sale as digital files. See "How to
Order Photos" above for more information.
Q: What is a "Digital File"?
A: A Digital File is simply the photograph you wish to order, in digital form. The file
is High-Resolution, meaning that it is suitable for printing. To print from your Digital
File, take the file to your preferred photo store and select the size print you would like.
Q: If I order a digital file, do I own the copyright?
A: No. Brian Massa Photography owns the copyright, in perpetuity. You are
allowed to use the digital file for personal use only: printing and emailing to direct family
only. No unauthorized sharing of digital files is allowed under any circumstances,
without prior written consent from Brian Massa.
Q: How will my Digital File(s) be delivered?
A: Upon receipt of payment (Cheque or Direct Bank Credit) Digital Files will be
delivered by email as attachments.
Q: Is GST included in the price?
A: Yes
Q: Can I request a specific crop for the Digital File I would like to order?
A: No, however once you purchase a Digital File, it is very easy to crop the image
yourself, using basic image editing software. In addition, many photo stores will crop
the image for you. Please be advised that for technical reasons certain Digital Files
will not "crop well" at the print size you desire. For instance, if you want an 8x12 print
of Photo X, but want Photo X cropped, it is very possible that after Photo X is
cropped it will not have enough "digital information" (megapixels) to print at the 8x12
size.
